This melancholy but beautiful movie tells the story of a married couple living on a kibbutz in the 1970's and their difficulties over a period of ten years in trying to have a child. Leah is played by one of the most beloved entertainers in Israel's history, Chava Alberstein. Her husband, Ya'akov is played by the famous Israeli actor Alexander Peleg.
